I would like to say a huge thank you to James Broomfield of Ourtech for his wonderful initiative and generosity. James encourages people to donate their unwanted laptops, which he then refurbishes and gives to schools, youth groups and charities. He recently donated refurbished laptops to the children at Biggin Hill Primary School, and we are incredibly grateful. Like all schools, we invest in technology to support learning, but having additional resources available to our pupils is a wonderful benefit. What makes James’s work particularly special is that he is taking technology that might otherwise go to waste and giving it a new life where it can make a real difference to children and young people. As Chair of Governors, I would like to thank James personally, on behalf of our pupils, staff, governors and the wider Biggin Hill Primary School community. His kindness, generosity and commitment to helping local children is hugely appreciated. Thank you, James, for making such a positive difference. James is just wonderful! He has been helping me with my IT for a few years now and he is a Godsend. He has helped me change the set up of my home office IT system and provided sounds and cost effective solutions for me. He is very personable, dependable, professional and hard-working. His work is reasonably priced. He also helps with remote queries and does his best to ensure he gets back to you within a reasonable timeframe. Excellent service! We had a great experience with James at Our Technician - Computer Support. He cleaned 3 laptops for our business last week and the improvement has been noticeable straight away. Professional, efficient, and easy to deal with. We will definitely be using him again. Highly recommended!
