Tech Recycling
During the pandemic in 2020, I recognised a need for schools, children, and support networks to access more computers. By the end of 2021, I had recycled or refurbished over 400 computers for local schools in south-east London. By asking my clients if they had an old computer gathering dust, I was able to generate enough donations to help many children and families.
How It Works
Inspired by that initial idea, I’ve continued to receive donations of laptops and established a new service: Our Tech Reuse and Recycling Service. This service allows you to safely and securely donate your old devices, knowing your data is protected.
Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of forming a fantastic partnership with Greener and Cleaner. Using their hub in The Glades, I now organise a monthly tech recycle and reuse donation day. This means you can drop off any old technology.
Where possible, I’ll remove the hard drive on-site so you can take it back with you, ensuring your data stays secure. The computer can then be repurposed and put back into the local community or donated to a local charity.

Through partnerships and continued community engagement, we aim to expand this positive impact further.
